MAT2105 Introduction to Scientific Computing
To learn scientific computing and to be familiar with programming language: Scientific computing is concerned with the design and analysis of algorithms for solving mathematical problems that arise in computational science and engineering. In this course we can learn programming to concentrate on problems in scientific computation, as opposed to the non-numerical examples typical in the first Computer Science course. Programming Languages: C, Fortran Mathematical Software System: Matlab, Maple, Mathematica Miscellaneous: TeX, LaTeX, Web Page, Unix
